BYU CAPS

BYU Counseling and Psychological Services is a confidential, free counseling service for BYU students. Many LGBTQ+ alumni are thankful to BYU CAPS for their support while students at BYU.

 

USGA

Understanding Same-Gender Attraction (USGA) is an unofficial group of Brigham Young University students, faculty, and guests who wish to strengthen families and the BYU community by providing a place for open, respectful discussions on the topic of same-gender attraction and LGBTQ issues.

 

Encircle

Encircle seeks to deepen and enrich the conversation among communities of faith and LGBTQ+ people. By teaching individuals to love themselves and empowering families, Encircle helps cultivate an environment where LGBTQ+ individuals can thrive.Our programs and services meet people wherever they are in their lives with cultural competency and sensitivity, using community partnerships, best practices, and innovative techniques.

 

Affirmation

Affirmation supports LGBTQ/SSA Mormons and their families, friends and Church leaders in seeking to live healthy and productive lives consistent with their faith or heritage.

 

Equality Utah

Equality Utah works to build a community where every Utahn is valued for being who they are regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. We believe everyone in our state deserves to be treated with respect and understanding and to be afforded the same basic freedoms and opportunities as everyone else.

The trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13–24.

 

Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.
