USGA

Understanding Same-Gender Attraction (USGA) is an unofficial group of Brigham Young University students, faculty, and guests who wish to strengthen families and the BYU community by providing a place for open, respectful discussions on the topic of same-gender attraction and LGBTQ issues.

 

BYU CAPS

BYU Counseling and Psychological Services is a confidential, free counseling service for BYU students. Many LGBTQ+ alumni are thankful to BYU CAPS for their support while students at BYU.

LGBTQ.UT is a comprehensive guide of queer resources in Utah, including events, crisis resources, books & podcasts and more. You can search by location to find resources near you, or search by category/community to find resources to fit your personal needs.

 

LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah

The LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah provides innovative and affirmative training to mental health professionals from a lens of cultural humility, social advocacy, collaboration and inclusivity to ensure therapists honor and celebrate the lived experiences of diverse individuals, families, and communities. You can find a list of affirming therapists on their website, with therapists who specialize the following: LGBTQ+ family therapy, LGBTQ+ relationship counseling, LGBTQ+ youth counseling, trans counseling, and counseling for kink & other alternative relationships.

 

Encircle

Encircle seeks to deepen and enrich the conversation among communities of faith and LGBTQ+ people. By teaching individuals to love themselves and empowering families, Encircle helps cultivate an environment where LGBTQ+ individuals can thrive. Our programs and services meet people wherever they are in their lives with cultural competency and sensitivity, using community partnerships, best practices, and innovative techniques.

Affirmation supports LGBTQ/SSA Mormons and their families, friends and Church leaders in seeking to live healthy and productive lives consistent with their faith or heritage.
